Reed Elsevier Ventures invests in internet, media and technology companies.   We are particularly interested in companies that can provide information, software or services to healthcare, scientific, legal and financial or other vertical markets.

The fund also looks to find companies that have the potential to complement Reed Elsevier’s existing operations through the prospect of a strong commercial relationship benefiting both parties. 

Investment profile

Reed Elsevier Ventures looks to invest in companies that have a sizeable market opportunity, a clearly differentiated strategy & business model and an outstanding management team.

The fund invests in the US, Europe and Israel & will consider investment opportunities at all stages from seed and series A rounds to late stage financing.

Reed Elsevier Ventures will lead rounds or co-invest as part of a syndicate and will typically invest between $1m and $10m initially, depending on the stage of the investment.
